“Mindful living means adopting the principles of mindfulness meditation into our daily lives. It sounds complicated, but mindful living is simple…it involves pausing, observing, noticing, being non-judgmental, checking in with your senses, and becoming connected with the present moment.”
Fully appreciate the moments here and now
We encourage that you fully appreciate the moments here and now, don’t dwell on past encounters and allow yourself to only reflect on your intentions of the present. When you become mindful, you realize that thoughts are designed to proceed without constant judgment. The saying, “You are not your thoughts”, portrays it best, mindfulness involves allowing the thoughts to exist without a specific pressure to define them to oneself.
Consider the perpetual cycle of life
Consider the perpetual cycle of life, we pursue our dreams and goals thinking they will deliver the “final fulfillment” we have been longing for but when they don’t, as humans, we immediately chase the next target.
Find contentment in the now
Experiencing only fleeting moments of satisfaction neglects the life we currently live, try to find contentment in the now. Living consciously decreases ego involvement, allowing for better regulation regarding your behavior rather than your feelings dictating your reactions.
